Megacabra

A fully matured Chupacabra that played the role of final boss for a Monster of the Week two-shot I ran for one of my discord servers. I put a twist on it that the Chupacabra was actually an alien parasite that merged with and transformed whatever ingested it, gradually replacing all of the host creature's cells as it grew toward its final alien form. They could also communicate and coordinate over distances by high frequency rattling of their quills. This one used to be a human who ingested a parasite and added its human intelligence to the quasi hivemind of the chupacabras, making them much more organized and dangerous.
