Van Meter Visitor

Earlier this year I was inspired to draw my personal take on the Van Meter Visitor, after the subject was covered by two of my favorite podcasts, the Cryptonaut Podcast and Graveyard Tales. The Van Meter Visitor was a flying beast that was encountered several times in Van Meter, Iowa in the early 1900s. Its most peculiar feature was a single glowing horn on its head. Often depicted as similar to a gargoyle or pterosaur, I wanted to exercise some of my animal anatomy knowledge and give my take on it.
