Glorantha Bestiary: Chaos

In 2016 and 2017, I had the honor of illustrating over 50 monsters for the Runequest-Glorantha Bestiary. It was a huge, fun, and very rewarding project. Copyright Chaosium Inc.

This set includes monsters tainted by Chaos.

Crimson Bat. One of the most terrible and powerful creatures in the setting. A posse of cultists rides its back.

Ghoul.

Broo. Chaotic goat-men with a lot of gross (but fun to draw!) deformities.

Huan-to. A yokai-like weirdo.

Jack-o-bears. This is a legacy monster from the earliest versions of the settings, and it was a fun challenge to reinterpret the rather silly premise into something cool and naturalistic.

Cwim. A terrible three-bodied giant that uses each of its bodies as a tripod leg when it gets excited.

Karshtid.

Dragonsnails. This is one of my favorite pieces.
